why does everyone notice the guy running around the stadium? haha i guess i was too preoccupied with the "bigger" things, like the fireworks and the canvas (the one that acted as a scroll). while i didnt particularly enjoy it, the scale of the show was laudable.
oh, and if you guys have too much time on your hands, you can watch the athens olympics opening ceremony here. it's pretty cool.
as i am typing this, michael phelps (of US swimming) is receiving his FOURTH GOLD MEDAL, has achieved his 4TH WORLD RECORD in this olympics, and I'll be hearing for the millionth time *"The Star Spangled Banner". (when will we ever hear Majulah Singapura at the olympics???)
Really, it's incredible. Phelps is incredible.

erm fyi , even the title of the us anthem sounds cool..singapore one..errr(and i thought sg wasn't competing coz it didn't come out till the last few!)..not that indo one is better..oz one i'm not that familiar with yet..i think it's "we are australia" but anyway..the celebration here was pretty massive..hey i just realised that the olympic ceremony was just a day before national day! did u guys still have the parade? if so does olympic put a dampener coz it'd hv seen so minor comparatively.anyway, will u just reinvite me again? and put some tag will u? it's so bloody annoying having to key in my identity each time. Also, will you write an entry asking everybody to update WHERE they are now and What they are doing?Or what are they gonna do/fly to soon?How's ur uni thing?
